All Patient entering the office MUST wear a proper mask, 3 ply surgical mask. Only patients with appointments may enter the office. No one else may accompany the patient inside unless they are a necessary assistant to a disabled patient, accompanying a patient who is a minor or an infant with a nursing mother.
Before entering the office, patients will be asked several questions about their general health, checked by non-contact thermometer, and asked about the reasons for their visit.
Patients will not be seen or allowed into the office if they have any of the following: Fever, a cold, flu-like symptoms any signs of an upper respiratory infection (cough, shortness of breath, mental confusion), or chest pain. They will be advised to go home, distance themselves from others and make a speedy recovery.
PROTOCOL FOR PATIENTS Patients coming to pick up glasses need to call the office when outside and glasses will be brought to the front door. If they need to be adjusted, you may enter the office to receive adjustment.
Patients will be admitted into the waiting room at prescribed intervals. Patients need to use a hand sanitizer on entering, and before touching any frames. Patients may not move around the office unless instructed to do so by an employee.
For your safety we:
Clean all frames after each patient and put the clean frames back in the display. Clean the patient area after each patient. We try to move our patients through their visit in an efficient and helpful manner. We clean all exam rooms and equipment’s a with disinfectant between each patient. All our employees utilize Personal Protective Equipment in accordance with recommendations from the CDC.
When using our bathrooms: Wash your hands well with soap for 20 seconds. We clean our bathroom doorknob outside and inside every 1 hr. Before entering the bathroom, everyone must clean their hands with sanitizer. Before leaving the bathroom, everyone must wash their handso have been in contact with another person with confirmed COVID-19, should get tested for COVID-19 and delay their appointments 2 weeks from the time they have recovered. • Patients who have recovered from COVID-19 must wait 6 weeks after treatment and be tested again before requesting an appointment. • Face covering will be required before entering the office. • With the exception of pediatric patients or others requiring a caretaker, we ask that you come alone for your visit. Spouses, friends and family members may be asked to wait outside. •- Unless you’re looking for new glasses, we may ask that you wait outside in the courtyard or in your car until the doctor is ready to see you. • If you are looking for new glasses, a technician will assist you with frame try-ons. These frames will be collected and sanitized before returned to display. • Our counters and public contact areas will be frequently sanitized.
